Surveys show most Americans want to stay in their own homes as they reach retirement age. But to do that, people need a strong support system -- especially if they have medical issues. As the American Society on Aging kicked off its national conference today in San Francisco, seminars dedicated to a recent trend called the "Village Movement" led the agenda. It's a model of care designed to keep seniors in their homes by making sure they have everything they need.
